Day by day

Day 1: Arrive in Kansai > Kyoto

Arrive at Kansai or Itami airport and transfer to your Kyoto hotel with an English-speaking assistant.

Day 2: Kyoto

Explore Kyoto: Kiyomizu Temple, the Sanjusangendo hall, and a traditional tea ceremony. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3: Kyoto

More of Kyoto: Kinkakuji (the Golden Pavilion), the Arashiyama bamboo grove and Tenryuji temple. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4: Kyoto > Hiroshima

Bullet train to Hiroshima for the Peace Memorial Park and Museum and the Orizuru Tower, with an okonomiyaki-making experience. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 5: Hiroshima > Miyajima

Take the local train and ferry to Miyajima for the iconic Itsukushima Shrine and its torii gate, with a momiji-manju making experience.

Day 6: Miyajima > Osaka

Travel to Osaka for Osaka Castle, the Umeda Sky Building, Kuromon Ichiba market and the lights of Dotonbori. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 7: Departure from Kansai

Transfer to Kansai airport for your onward flight.
