Day by day
Day 1: GUWAHATI TO EMANGRE VILLAGE :
Meet and greet with our representative after arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station. After that start your journey to Emangre village. It will be long journey of 7-8 hours covering a distance of ` around 250Kms. After reaching check-in to homestay or campsite. Overnight stay in Emangre village. Day 2: TREK TO WARI CHORA:
will take you the nearest location from where the trek will start and it takes around 1 hour to reach the stream side. Once you reach there enjoy the unforgettable beauty of Wari Chora. After spending a good time, travel back to homestay and take rest.
Day 3: SIJU CAVE - SHILLONG :
Today after breakfast, go to visit Siju caves and Fish Sanctuary. Later, travel back to Shillong. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: SHILLONG TO CHERRAPUNJI :
Morning, you will drive to Cherrapunji, which is known as the wettest place on earth. En-route visit Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point. You can also do Zip-lining there (by direct payment). In Cherrapunji you will visit > Gareden of Caves, Wei Sawdong Waterfalls, Nohkalikai waterfall, Arwah Cave, Mawsmai Cave. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji. Note: visit. Day 5: TREK TO DOUBLE DECKER ROOT BRIDGE :
After an early breakfast, transport to Tyrna village and thereafter it is a trek from Tyrna to the double- decker root bridge at Nongriat. There are around 3500 steps to go down to reach the bridge. After exploring the bridge, trek back 3500 steps upwards. There are multiple hanging bridges to cross on this trek. After, a long day of trekking relax at hotel in Cherrapunji. Day 6: MAWLYNNONG VILLAGE > DAWKI :
` After breakfast, travel to visit Dawki. Enroute visit Mawlynnong village, (Known as the cleanest village in Asia). Also visit the Single Living Root Bridge in nearby Riwai Village. After that, travel to Dawki where you will go boating in Umngot river (by direct payment). Umngot river is known for its clean water. After that visit the Indo-Bangladesh Border. Overnight stay in a hotel in Dawki.
Day 7: DAWKI > JOWAI > SHILLONG :
Today, you will travel to explore one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Meghalaya, Krangsuri waterfalls. Then travel to visit the Phe-Phe Falls. There is a small 45-min walk to the falls. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 8: SHILLONG TO GUWAHATI FOR DEPARTURE (
APPROX.): Check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati Airport for departure. If time permits, visit the Kamakhya temple (mukh darshan). The Kamakhya Temple is a Sakta temple dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhya. It is one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pithas.
