Day by day

Day 1: ARRIVE LEH

Arrive at Leh Airport (This should be quite possibly the Most Sensational Flights in the World). On a clear morning from one side of the airplane can be found somewhere far off the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the opposite side of the airplane, so close that you believe you could connect and touch it, is the Nun Kun massif. Day 2: LEH EXCURSION SHAM VALLEY REGION

Post Breakfast we drive towards Sham Valley and start another touring beginning with Hall of Fame (MONDAY CLOSED) (Museum Constructed by India Army) close to Leh merits a visit for each Indian, and continue further to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib at an altitude of 3600 Mtrs around 22 Kms from Leh was built in memory of Guru Nanak Dev ji Nestled deep in the Himalayas. Day 3: LEH > NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDUNG LA 18,390 FT.

Post breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road in The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Day 4: NUBRA EXCURSION TO TURTUK

After an early breakfast we drive to Turtuk, and a lot of other small villages, were brought under Indian control after the 1971 war, when the Indian army pushed the Pakistani soldiers past the mountains towering the Nubra Valley. Turtuk lies at the extreme corner of the Indian border, and hence its accessibility is a challenge. Day 5: NUBRA VALLEY TO PANGONG LAKE

After an early breakfast we check out from Camp or hotel and drive towards Hunder where you have opportunity to ride on a bacterian camel (double humped) amidst the sand dunes of this high altitude desert with snowcapped mountains on the horizon. Between Hunder and Diskit you come across sand dunes besides the road. Seen in isolation you could well be amongst the sand dunes of the Thar Desert in Rajasthan. Day 6: PANGONG LAKE TO HANLE

After breakfast we will leave for hanley and explore the places on the way to Hanley. Dinner & Overnight Stay at HANLEY

Day 7: HANLE EXCURSION TO UMLING LA PASS

Visit the World’s Highest Motorable Pass > Umling La Pass. If you are an adventure seeker and have experience in riding or driving on dirt tracks and bad roads, you can try to take the route from Ukdungle > Nurbula Top. A word of caution that this route is better to be only taken if you have skills to ride/drive in such terrain else stick to Photi La route which in comparison may be a little easier to ride/drive than Nurbula Top route. Day 8: HANLE TO LEH

After an early breakfast we check out from our camp and The Drive is scenic and Tsokar lake is one of the best Drive further to Leh and check in at our hotel for Overnight Dinner & Overnight stay at the Hotel in LEH
