Day 1: GUWAHATI TO SHILLONG:

Meet & greet by our company representative on arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station. you will head towards Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. On the way visit Umiam Lake. You can also go boating in this lake. On reaching Shillong, check in to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit Cathedral Catholic Church, one of the biggest churches in the state. Day 2: SHILLONG TO CHERRAPUNJI:

After breakfast you will drive to Cherrapunji, which is the wettest place on earth. En-route visit > the Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point and Garden of Caves. Day 3: CHERRAPUNJI TO DAWKI:

This morning, travel to visit Mawlynnong village, also known as the cleanest village in Asia. Also visit the Single Living Root Bridge in the nearby Riwai Village. Then travel to Dawki where you will go boating in Umngot river. After that visit the Indo-Bangladesh Border. Later, travel to the resort for overnight stay in Dawki.

Day 4: DAWKI TO SHILLONG:

Today, you will travel to explore Krangsuri waterfalls and Phe Phe falls. Then visit the Nartiang Monoliths (if time permits). Later, travel back to Shillong for an overnight stay. `

Day 5: SHILLONG TO KAZIRANGA:

After breakfast, you will drive to Kaziranga National Park. An UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kaziranga National Park is home to the unique One Horned Indian Rhinoceros apart from several other wild animals. On the way, visit the Maha Mrityunjaya Temple. Day 6: JUNGLE SAFARI AT KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK:

Early in the morning, you will go for a Jeep Safari (cost included) in the jungle of Kaziranga National Park. After that, go back to the hotel/resort and enjoy your breakfast. Day 7: KAZIRANGA TO DIRANG:

Leave for Dirang post Breakfast. After reaching visit Dirang Monastery. Overnight stay in a hotel in Dirang.

Day 8: DIRANG TO TAWANG:

After an early breakfast leave for Tawang. Before leaving from Dirang visit Sangti Valley. Enroute drive past the Sela Pass at 13,700 ft - the second highest motorable road in India. Also visit the Sela lake nearby. Stop at Jaswant Garh to pay homage to the brave soldiers of the 1962 Indo-Chinese aggression. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 9: DAY EXCURSION TO BUMLA PASS:

Morning after breakfast, travel to visit Bum-la Pass. The Bum La Pass is a border pass between Tibet's Cona County and India's Tawang district in Arunachal Pradesh. Day 10: TAWANG TO BOMDILA:

After breakfast travel to visit Tawang Monastery and Giant Buddha statue. After that leave for Bomdila. Enroute visit Jung waterfall (also known as Nuranang falls). Overnight stay in a hotel in Bomdila. `

Day 11: BOMDILA TO GUWAHATI:

Return drive from Bomdila to Guwahati. You may visit Bomdila Monastery before leaving from Bomdila. It’s a downhill journey which will take around 7-8 hours to reach Guwahati. Check in to hotel and take a rest after a long journey. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 12: GUWAHATI DEPARTURE:

Today is the last day of your Northeast Tour. After breakfast, travel back to Guwahati. If time permits, visit the Kamakhya Temple. The Kamakhya Temple is a Sakta temple dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhya. It is one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pithas. Then transfer to Guwahati Airport for Departure.
